This website is operated by Finstar Industrial Chemicals, a supplier of industrial chemicals to business buyers in Kenya and the wider East African region.

Information you send us. When you submit the quote wizard or the contact form, we receive the details you type into it — your name, company, email address, telephone number, the product and quantity you are asking about, and any notes you add. We receive this because you chose to send an enquiry, and we use it only to prepare and send you a response.

Analytics information. If — and only if — you agree via the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 records how pages on this site are used: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and which products, categories and conversion buttons are interacted with.

Server logs. Our web server keeps standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and troubleshooting.

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. The Google Analytics script is not downloaded at all until you press “Accept” on the notice at the bottom of the page. If you decline, or simply never choose, your browser makes no request to Google, no analytics cookie is set, and no identifier is collected. We additionally run Google Consent Mode with all storage denied by default, so even once the script loads it cannot store anything you have not agreed to.

We have configured the integration so that the following are never sent to Google: your name, your company name, your email address, your telephone number, your delivery address, and the text of any enquiry, message or quote request. Values that look like an email address or a phone number are stripped before any event is transmitted, including from site-search terms.

We do not use Google Ads, remarketing, or Google Signals through this property; advertising storage is denied unconditionally.

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which resets the notice. Google’s own description of how it processes this data is published at policies.google.com/privacy.

WhatsApp. The WhatsApp buttons open a conversation with our sales desk. Once you are in WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms, not this policy.

Cloudinary. Product images are delivered from Cloudinary’s content delivery network, which receives your IP address as a necessary part of serving the image.

On-site assistant. Messages you type into the chat widget are processed to generate a reply. Do not enter payment details or sensitive personal information into it.

This site stores a small number of values in your browser. Two are set regardless of consent because the site cannot function sensibly without them: your light/dark theme preference, and your answer to the cookie notice itself (so we stop asking).

Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept, and are used to distinguish one visit from another. No advertising cookies are set.

We do not sell your information. Enquiry details are used by our sales and pricing team to respond to you, and are held in our internal systems. Analytics data is processed by Google as described above.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Under the Kenyan Data Protection Act 2019 you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask for it to be deleted, and to object to how we use it. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the GDPR.
